We are based in the U.S. with design thinking students across the world. Here is a story from Patricia about her experience with one of the design thinking online workshops in this collection.
My first interaction with the design thinking process was at a leadership training opportunity for young East and Central African leaders where we were asked to develop a solution for a hospital that was offering affordable healthcare for children with heart conditions. My team members and I followed the design thinking steps that allowed us to come up with a solution that we eventually pitched to the hospital management staff.
Recently, the questions that the team captains on my projects often consulted on helped me identify a skill gap. They needed further training on solution mapping. As I browsed the internet in search of design thinking courses, I came across The Design Thinking Online Workshop at Innovation Learning. Through these courses, I was able to supplement my design thinking knowledge and acquire new skills that helped me teach the project team captains to identify challenges and map out the right solutions. The course was a great fit for me and the team.
